The Nikon D80 is out

The 20 day teaser has been over and the new Nikon d80 SLR has been revealed. Surprisingly nikon m’sia was the first to featured the new D80 articles before it was taken down shortly.

but afraid not other websites like dpreview already has a hands on preview of the camera. from the specs alone, it looks quite impressive,

10.2 MP (1.5x crop factor)
11 point AF sensor
3 FPS
3D Color Matrix Metering II,
Battery grip option
surprisingly it choose to use SD instead of CF. view the rest of the specs here.

along with the camera, two new lense has been announced, AF-S DX 18-135 and the AF-S 70-300 mm VR

wonder when will canon strike back.
