Negative Clarity in lightroom

today while doing some editing work on the adobe lightroom, i discovered a really cool and fast short cut to smoothen skin or to give the picture some creamy effect,
the original function of the clarity in lightroom or adobe camera raw was to increase “Local Contrast Enhancement” . when toying around with it, i discovered that if you perform negative clarity on the photo, it will give a kind of smoothening or creamy effect, sort of like that soft focus filter.
